GGJ goes THE LÄND:

KIT GameJam is a dynamic student group at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), proud to host their first official GGJ-Site this year! They bring valuable experience from organizing successful game jams at KIT and are dedicated to providing the best experience for all participants they can. The event is sponsored by MFG Baden-Württemberg and the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts to promote cross-industry and cross-university networking and strengthen the games scene in Baden-Württemberg.

We are focused on supporting your creativity and ensuring a smooth 48-hour development sprint. Our site offers:
• Full 48-hour access to the dedicated jam location.*

💡 Pre-Jam Warm-up: The IPEK Sidetrack
To help you warming up, we are collaborating with the IPEK (Institute of Product Engineering) at KIT to provide an exclusive Sidetrack event. This is a perfect opportunity to:
• Participate in a fun, workshop-like project to sharpen your skills.
• Get valuable knowledge and inspiration before the main jam officially begins.
• Gain insights into current research

🎒 What to Bring
• Laptop/PC with its necessary power cable
• Preffered peripherals (mouse, keyboard, controller, graphics tablet, headphones, etc.)
• Necessary software pre-installed to save time
• Stuff for writing (notebooks, pens, markers); we will provide you with paper.
• Reusable water bottle and favorite snacks

• Fr 16:30 Uhr: KickOff-Vortrag

• Sa 19:00 Uhr: Präsentation Zwischenergebnisse (freiwillig)
• So 17:00 Uhr: Ende der Jam, Präsentation der Spiele und Playtime
